At our recent AGM the Ipswich A Cappella Harmony club again ventured into new territory when they elected the first women to hold executive positions in the club.
Norid Krausz became their first female President taking over the position from retiring President David Green.
Sandy Marriott took on the previous vacant role of VP Music and Karen McLeod assumed the role as VP Membership.
Graeme Snell a member of both Ipswich and Toowoomba clubs was elected Treasurer.
Howard Kennedy was elected Secretary. John Holt and Richard Winrow were elected as committee men.
With Gordon Dryden continuing as Musical Director and David Green taking over the role as immediate past president the club managed to fill all vacant positions for the first time in many years.
This augers well for the future of the club as they continue to aim for quality singing and growing membership. |
